4th of July: Outfit Inspo

The Fourth of July is fast approaching & with that I wanted to provide a little outfit inspiration. There's always the typical flag tank tops with the year on the bottom of them that people wear, but I wanted to put together something that was a little cuter and both comfortable and practical for whatever your celebrations may ensue. This outfit would be perfect for a BBQ, fireworks, or a night out. I picked up these lace up shoes I'm wearing last month and I'm obsessed with them, they're super comfy and easy to walk in. If you wanted to make the look a little more casual you could switch the shoes out for a pair of white slip on converse. I absolutely love white denim and the 4th is the perfect time to wear it, pairing them with a simple striped top keeps the outfit easy and effortless. I think there's a fine line between looking patriotic and looking like you're wearing a flag (this outfit stays on the good side of the line ;) ) . I hope this post has given you some inspiration for the perfect 4th of July outfit!

Blush & Nude

I snagged these sandals at the end of last summer and have been waiting for the perfect outfit to wear them with. They're super comfy & I love the fringe detail. They're still available and also come in black & I noticed they're on sail for half of what I paid SCORE! But really if you love fringe and nude heels you should grab these. I paired them with some white denim & this blush colored blouse which has some delicate crocheted detail along with cute little ties near the wrists, and the best part is...it was under 20 dollars! I wore this to dinner the other night when it was around 75ish degrees out and the breezy material kept me cool without making me cold as the the temps dropped a little later. I almost made it through the entire night with crisp white jeans, and then I decided to get ice cream & you can imagine how that ended.

Black & White

We've officially reached the season of me being too lazy to get dressed 75% of the time. Obviously I'd rather not walk around looking haggard so I picked up a few pieces that are super casual yet look cute. I love wearing hats in the summer because 1. I don't like brushing my hair and 2. I don't like putting on makeup and a hat solves all of these problems! I also love to wear oversized sunglasses and these are the perfect ones. They're the largest size aviators RayBan makes & they're also polarized. I snagged a pair of the Adidas slide sandals & my boyfriend says they are ugly but what does he know!? A lot of higher end brands like Givenchy & Chanel are coming out with slide sandals so they must be a little bit fashionable :) I purchased a ton of these relaxed t-shirts in neutral colors (my favorite being this striped one) and they're so easy to throw on with some leggings or a pair of jeans.
