Currently Loving

Summers in full swing now & I wanted to take a second to share with you some of the items I've been loving in these hotter months! Summer isn't a time where I like to put a lot of thought into what I'm wearing so these items have been great to just throw on & still look cute!

one//  Coach bag

I was in Portsmouth a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and was left alone for a day while he was working...this resulted in me shopping for 7 hours & that is how I got this cute bag. I have so many purses it's a little crazy, but none quite like this & that's why I love it. It's the perfect neutral color for summer and so easy to carry with the cross body strap. I also love the duffel like shape!

two//  J.crew cheetah sandal

It's no secret at this point that I love cheetah print. I don't know why but I think it's the cutest print ever and I look at as a neutral. These sandals are extremely well made and make any outfit look cuter. I walked all around town in them and didn't get a single blister (score)!

three// Olive green vest

It's no secret that olive green is one of my colors, so when I saw this vest I knew I needed it. This vest will be the perfect transition from fall to winter. It looks great now over a dress or tank and will look great with booties and a long sleeve tee as the weather cools down. This is the perfect piece to throw on to make a simple t-shirt and jeans looks cute.

four// Urban Decay foundation & concealer

Things I love: makeup that doesn't feel like you're wearing any makeup. Which is exactly why I've fallen back in love with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation. This stuff is the real deal. It covers just the right amount of things while still keeping your complexion looking soft and natural. In addition to the foundation I also love the concealer. Some days I'll just apply the concealer with some powder and call it good.

Products mentioned:
Green Vest (affordable)
Cheetah Sandals (Similar)

Have a great week!

Balayage Hair

(dark hair #selfie :) )

Sometimes in life bad things happen to good people...like the time my head was orange...In times of crisis we find out whose really got our back...or our hair. Through the disaster that was my hair last summer, I found the best hairdresser ever! Her name is Savannah and she works at Full Spectrum Salon. She listens to exactly what I want but at the same time gives me some "guidance" as to what would look best. In fixing my hair initially it had to be filled with a pretty dark deep brown and we're just now at the stage where we can begin to put some lightness back in. Savannah used a product by Guy Tang to balayage my hair and it came out perfect. The product was painted onto my hair and dried into what felt like a clay mask, this allowed Savannah to "crumble" off some of the product to determine if we needed to add any more. I really can't believe how light she was able to get my hair (see attached pictures of my reallllly dark color). Additionally she gave me a great cut that added volume and layers without being choppy. P.s. my idea of a half an inch cut off is the same as hers (BONUS) If you're looking for a natural looking color change I would definitely suggest asking for a balayage, the bonus is that it grows out beautifully. All in all I'm super happy not only with my hair color but also that I've found an awesome stylist. If you're in VT or around this area I would definitely suggest booking an appointment with Savannah!
