Country Concert Outfit

As summer approaches I can't help but get excited about all the fun things that are on my calendar, the main things being summer concerts. My favorite concerts to go to are country concerts, they're just the best time ever! I thought it would be helpful to put together an outfit I would wear to one of the concerts. For me, when I go to a concert I want to look cute but also want to be prepared for standing for hours & the temperature changes. I would love to wear the cutest pair of heels or wedges but let's be honest you would want to chop your feet off by the end of the night! I made the mistake of wearing heeled booties last summer to a concert and by the end of the night my feet were numb! Big mistake! I think a cute pair of cowboy boots are the perfect footwear for a concert, my favorite brand is Frye, I have 6 pairs! Denim also called "chambray" tops and dresses are huge right now so that's what I choose as my top. This top is perfect because you won't over heat as its off the shoulder but it will keep you cozy enough as the sun goes down & temperatures drop. I suggest always wearing pants to a concert, the thought of having my legs stuck to a concert seat is just horrifying and would be very uncomfortable. I love white denim and never have trouble keeping them clean. Make sure when buying white denim that you choose a pair that has a thick knit to it or else it will be very unflattering, trust me! To tie this outfit together I folded a red bandanna into a little neck scarf which I think looks super cute, you could also wear it in your hair! Pura Organics Review

Before I get into reviewing these products I want to give you a little run down on my skin. As a teenager, I had fairly good skin, some breakouts here and there but nothing crazy, my skin was pretty normal & easy going. Now that I'm in my 20's my skin has done a total 180. It's insanely sensitive to the point where I can't use many products because they will cause severe irritation, yikes! Now, this is where Pura Organics comes in! What I love most about this skincare line is that I can pronounce all of the ingredients, which is important to me. I like to know what exactly I'm slathering all over my face. This skincare line is perfect for any girl looking to treat her skin well & prevent the signs of aging, which who wouldn't want to do those things!? So far I've tried two of their products which I'll talk more about below. 

Under Eye Tightening Gel 

I've always preached about how important it is to moisturize your skin morning & night but I usually snark a little at the thought of an extra step under my eyes, I mean does it really make a difference? After using this product for a few weeks I can tell you yes it really does make a difference! When you apply this gel it goes on smoothly & you can feel your undereye tighten as it dries! I've found this product to also work around the nose/mouth area where you might have some fine lines. This product comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a pump to dispense the product. I love leaving it on my vanity because it looks so beautiful! On a side note, your undereye makeup will look SO much better after using this product!

Firming Night Moisturizer 

I've had a really hard time lately finding a super hydrating moisturizer that doesn't contain the ingredients that irritate my skin, I was excited to see that this Pura Organics moisturizer would work for me. My favorite thing about this product is the scent, I'm not really sure how to describe it besides the word decadent! This cream is fairly thick but soaks into your skin fast. I use it at night & in the morning under my makeup. I find that my makeup lasts longer and looks better because my skin is so hydrated. This product is one that you only need a small pea size amount of to cover your whole face, so it should last you awhile!

Beach Outfit

This is my last post from my outfits from Siesta Key which is a little sad because now I'm officially out of vacation mode. BUT the good news is the weather is warming up in Vermont so I can start to wear some cute things here! I purchased these pants with this exact outfit in mind and it was my favorite outfit I wore while I was there. I was a little unsure how white pants + me + a beach would mix but it turned out perfect! I think for any beach trip you NEED a straw hat & denim jacket and definitely a good pair of neutral sandals, which was the one thing I forgot, which led me to a local Macy's where I purchased these & I love them! They went with everything I had packed and were good quality. Unfortunately these white beach pants are no longer in stock but I linked 2 great options, both under $50!

Places to Eat in Siesta Key Florida

Kyle and I just got back from our trip to Siesta Key and one of our favorite parts about the trip was all the delicious food! I wanted to make sure to write a post about all our favorite restaurants, so if you're planning a trip, or are there you can have a good list of recommendations!

1. Meaney's Mini Donuts

I've seriously never had donuts this good. They open at 8 each morning & we were there by 8:15 :) We got 6 donuts each day & 2 iced coffees. We tried the glazed with rainbow sprinkles, peanut butter cup, and Bavarian cream, they were all equally delicious. When you order the donuts you can watch them pop right off the donut maker so your donuts are SO fresh!

2. Big Olaf Creamery

This ice cream is hand churned and let me tell you, it makes ALL the difference! It's delicious and creamy and they have over 30 flavors! My favorite was the Salted Caramel Pretzel, I got it in a homemade waffle cone & it was heaven.

3. The Daiquiri Deck

We came here during happy hour which worked out in our favor. When you order 1 daiquiri they actually give you 2! So we ordered our 2 daiquiris and ended up with 4! They were delicious and not too big. We also got the nachos as an appetizer and they had the most yummy Queso on them, I seriously have a weakness for Queso! This restaurant also has a very fun beachy vibe!

4. The Hub Baja-Grill

This was my favorite restaurant we ate at. They're known for their margarita's & let me tell you they did not disappoint. We ordered the dip sampler for our app and it came with pico, queso, and guac and it was heaven! Then for my meal I got lobster tacos and OMG best meal of my life, seriously. If you go there you must order them, I promise they're crazy good.

5. Toasted Mango Café

We stopped in here for lunch one afternoon and it was so delicious. We got a salad that had mango and avocado and tomato and a delicious homemade vinaigrette. The salad was huge ! We should have ordered just one. Oops!

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer Review + Current Makeup Favorites

1// Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer 

When I was in Florida I ran out of concealer so I popped into a Sephora to pick up a new one. I got to talking with one of the sales associates and she introduced me to this new Nars concealer and I'm completely obsessed with it. The reason I love this concealer so much is because it really does conceal. This stuff can mask anything & it doesn't budge all day. The formula is on the dryer side so I'd probably steer clear of using this under the eyes but I do love using it as an eyelid primer. The only downfall I can see to this product is the price as its $30 which seems a little steep for a concealer. 

2// Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush 

I've been using these blushes since December and I can say that they're the best blushes I've used. The best quality about them is their blend-ability, you could pile on way too much of this blush and blend it out with no problem. I wouldnt say this blush lasts 12 hours but it does last me through a work day. 

3// Wet n Wild Bronzer 

This bronzer in the shade 'Ticket to Brazil' creates the perfect everyday bronze glow. It has a more beige undertone so it never leaves me looking red or orange which I love. I hate nothing more than orange toned bronzers, yikes! I would definitely suggest this to anyone with a fair to medium complexion!

4// NYX Eyeshadow

I use this shadow for my everyday makeup look. It's a nice neutral bronze color and gives me just the right amount of shading on my eye. I use the color 'Blame It on Midnight'. NYX has over 50 different shadow colors so you're sure to find one that matches your needs. I would suggest using one thats just a few shades darker than your skin tone to give the perfect natural look.
