Life Update

Hi All!

If you follow me on Instagram and here on my blog you might have been wondering where the heck I've been the past few months. My posts have been pretty sporadic & I'm sorry for that BUT something very exciting has been in the works!...

Kyle & I bought a house!
We've been busy packing up everything in our condo from the past 3 years! (I can't believe its been 3 years living there)

We just closed on it this morning and we couldn't be more excited about this new chapter in our life. I never thought at 23 I'd be purchasing a home, I feel so incredibly lucky and thankful. As you're reading this we're probably packing up our moving truck & heading to the new house! 

This whole thing came so unexpectedly- My mom and I were actually getting our nails done one Saturday in April and we were chatting and she asked if I had seen a home that was listed in our area (she had seen pictures on facebook), I told her I had seen it and loved it and she asked me why I wasn't buying it. Next thing you know we were leaving our nail appointment and going to look at the house! We wrote an offer an hour later and it was accepted that night. Mind you Kyle & I hadn't met with a lender yet, which is something you should definitely do prior to looking at homes, so our offer was contingent on financing which thank goodness all worked out. I also should mention that Kyle is a realtor so that's probably why this all worked out so well! I'm not sure I'd be very helpful with tips on buying a home as it was such a whirlwind buying this one! 

I'm so excited to share this new journey of home ownership with you all! I'm sure there will be many home posts to come. I already have so many plans!
