Galley Kitchen Renovation Before & After

Hi All-
I'm back with another home project to share with you. I will link all of the products used at the end of the post.

We've slowly but surely been redoing our kitchen since we purchased our home 2 years ago. The first thing we did was update our appliances- let me tell you that the inside of the previous oven was something from a nightmare!
Most recently, Kyle installed a subway tile backsplash and installed new flooring. We also added in shiplap and a new coat rack that I made out of reclaimed wood. I love doing easy DIY projects. I feel like the shiplap really added some nice interest to the space and gave the end of the cabinets a finished look. The kitchen feels so light and bright now and was very affordable to update.
Our house was built in the '50s and the cabinets are original, that being said, it was impossible to find new drawer pulls for the cabinets as the holes for the pulls are not the standard distance anymore. To save ourselves a headache and money we refinished the existing handles in a matte black (the were a weird brown/copper). If you're looking for an easy update for your cabinets- try refinishing the hardware!
I highly suggest the flooring we choose. It's a luxury vinyl tile that was very affordable and overall really easy to install. It has held up well to our crazy bulldog and the color keeps the high traffic area looking clean all of the time.

Here are links to all of the products used- Let me know if you have any questions!
