Hi all & Happy Thursday!
I've missed a few of these posts as I've had other posts go up on Thursday's recently so I'm excited to get back into the swing of things. This will be one of my last Thursday Thoughts of 2017 which is so crazy! This year truly flew by!
Things I did this week //
* Finished up my Christmas Shopping- I've had most of it complete for a while now but I always seem to leave so many loose ends such as picking up gift cards or stocking stuffers. Let me tell you it is not fun to be out shopping 4 days before Christmas- People are not very Holly Jolly!
* Wrapped up teaching until after the New Year! One of the major perks of being a Teacher is the school vacations. I have 10 days off to relax and enjoy family time! I'm so looking forward to it!

*Hair Cut- My hair got to a point where it would get soo tangled I wanted to chop it all off- It just needed a fresh cut!
Things I'm doing this weekend //
*Saturday Manicure- Thank goodness! The winter destroys my hands- no matter how much lotion I apply my cuticles end up looking not so cute.
*Wrapping gifts- Everything will be purchased and or arrive at my door by Saturday so I will have some wrapping to do! Which is fine with me as long as I have hot chocolate and Christmas Movies!
*Christmas Eve! Can you believe Christmas is here!! I can't! Every Christmas Eve I go to mass with my Mom, Grandma, and the past few years Kyle. I love this tradition as it really puts me in the right mindset for the Holidays. Christmas Eve Mass is such a joyful time, I love seeing all the smiling families piling into the pews at the church.
*Christmas! Which is technically next week and not this coming weekend but I'm just so excited! I always spend Christmas Morning at my parent's house opening gifts with my Sister. We also have A Christmas Story playing on the television all day! I love this day & especially love all the yummy food & family time.
What are your plans for the holiday? Let me know!
XO,
Nicholle

I hate wrapping presents, it's definitely my least favorite holiday activity. I am SO excited for Christmas and a little time off of work though. Bring on the family time and food!
ReplyDeleteI've been putting off wrapping and need to knock it out this weekend too! I'm so glad to have my shopping done; people are so rude this time of year! It always breaks my heart for those that work retail.
ReplyDeleteHaha people are so frantic when it's this close to Christmas right?!

I haven't been Christmas shopping for he past few days, but going out and trying buy any kind of practical thing has been a nightmare! I needed to go buy some shampoo, and the store was so packed. I'm so jealous of your mani! I wish I had enough time to get one before my vacation.

ReplyDeleteYou have been BUSY, but it's so nice you have 10 days off to relax. Definitely a huge work perk! Have the merriest of Christmases! And a safe/happy/healthy start to the new year!
