DIY Thanksgiving Centerpiece

Hi All & Happy Sunday

As the holidays approach I wanted to take some time to do some fun & affordable DIY Projects, my first on the list was a DIY Thanksgiving centerpiece! In total, this project cost under $10 but turned out beautiful for your Thanksgiving table. At Thanksgiving you want your table to look nice but not be overdone as there will be a lot of food placed on your table as well.

Supplies //
- 8- 10 mini pumpkins- white/orange (white are a little easier to paint over)
- acorns - I found mine outside so they were free!
- one colored paint - one white paint- one metallic paint
- paint brushes

How To //
1 - Mix up your paint colors- you will want varying shades all in the same tone- to do this just add different amounts of white to your base color & to create the metallic pumpkins I mixed my base blue color with metallic gold
2- Paint your base coat on your pumpkins/acorns & let dry for one hour until it sets- if you paint over it too soon it will wipe away your first layer
3- Apply second and final coat of paint & allow to dry overnight
4- Mix up paint for your stems & tops- to do this I just mixed up my metallic with a darker brown paint as I wanted my stems a little darker
5- Paint your stems & tops- Allow to dry for 1 hour
6- Apply final coat of paint to stems & tops and allow to dry overnight

All Done! Arrange on your dining table!

XO,
Nicholle
